Marco Engineering

Established in 1965, Marco Engineering has provided a continuous precision engineering service to the Canberra region. Our commitment to precision engineering has evolved from our founder's experience in Switzerland and later the Department of Physics at The Australian National University.

Marco Engineering has always been at the forefront of precision engineering and we have developed the capabilities and services to meet your project requirements.

Key Projects

  • Precision machining of components for plasma experiments
  • Machining and fabrication of lunar sample spectrometer
  • Vacuum instruments for thin film technology
  • Precision machining for satellite altitude sensor
  • Manufacturing of components for FEDSAT
  • Manufacture of components for NIFS (Near Infrared Integral Field Spectrograph)
  • Fabrication of mechanical ground support equipment for anechoic load
  • Machining and fabrication of automated CO2 monitoring system

While lunar missions have ceased, we have continued to forge ahead; continuing to invest in new products and new technologies to provide the latest in tailored engineering solutions. And this investment will continue with plans to purchase a robotic welding cell, 5 axis CNC machining centre and CNC lathe as part of our facility expansion.

Our success is built on our core values of commitment to service, setting new standards and leading the way through constant innovation.
