Apprenticeship in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Marco Engineering is currently looking for energetic and motivated personnel to join our growing Queanbeyan based business.

This position will develop the following skills:

• Precision machining on Mori Seiki CNC machining centres and lathes
• CNC machine programming
• Precision machining on conventional lathes and milling machines
• Precision assembly, integration and testing (AIT) of components
• General machining, processing and assembly
• A range of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, electric arc and brazing
• Planning and improving production efficiency
• Assisting in the design and fabrication of a range of products and services

In order to be considered for this positon, it is essential that you:

• Have a keen interest in mechanical and/or mechatronic systems
• Have excellent team working skills
• Are able to work with minimal supervision
• Are keen to develop new and specialised skills
